I am told that being honest and telling you about my life will make you more interested in reading what I have to say. I'm not sure how true this is, but I will give it a shot. My life revolves around 3 wonderful people; my husband, my daughter, and my son. My life was not always as joyous and wonderful as it is now. I have had my share of hard times, I've been to the bottom and crawled my way to out of life's pit. I have been depressed, I have felt like I had nowhere to go and that I had no one in the world who cared about me. Who hasn't? But that is not the story I would like to share with you. Instead of focusing on the negative things in my past I would like to focus on how I turned that negativity into a joyful and happy life.
There are many people who are down and out, who do not know where to turn, who; no matter how hard they try, just can't seem to find joy. I would like to say that your life does not have to continue this way. Not only have I found a way to enjoy my life because of the people in it, but I have learned to love and enjoy myself. It is a journey everyone must make to find happiness, discover who they really are, and find what makes them happy. It is a simplistic journey; simplistic because each and every person possesses the power to find happiness within themselves. The secret to finding this happiness is very simple indeed. Do what makes you happy. In the end you are really the only person in the world who can make yourself happy which is a wonderful thing because you have to live with you for the rest of your life. Your life will only be as wonderful as you make it. It is not up to your husband, your children, your friends, or your family to make you happy; for they should be focused on making their own lives happy. The responsibility of living a joyful life lies solely on your own shoulders. Only you truly know what makes your heart skip a beat, only you have the knowledge of what you truly enjoy. I implore you to find what makes you happy and do it, today, no reason to waste time in misery.
Life is a journey to be taken one day at a time. My hope is the through Simplistic Journey I may share the ways I have found to relax and enjoy the journey. Through crafting, cooking, motherhood, marriage, and of course saving money I have found happiness in both the small and large moments. I hope to share with you a piece of that happiness.
At Simplistic Journey I will be sharing crafts, recipes, motherly advice that I have found helpful because let's face it; being a parent is a difficult job! I will also be sharing stories of being married (caution: I may vent from time to time) and of course ways to save money. I hope that you will find this site helpful. If you have any questions, or would like some advice please feel free to contact me or leave a comment.
Thanks for stopping by, and as always, Enjoy.
