These tasty and very simple cookies are also cheap to make (BONUS!!) They don't take long and are absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
1 1/2 cup oatmeal (quick oats)
Directions:
Melt chocolate and peanut butter together, stir until smooth. Add oatmeal, mix until all oatmeal is coated. Spoon onto a wax paper-lined cookie sheet. Freeze 1 hour. Enjoy.
I actually came up with this recipe in the beginning stages of being married, because who has money when starting out? I know we didn't, but that fact didn't stop by sweet tooth from craving some chocolate. These were items we had on hand, and so the birth of the Chocolate-Peanut Butter No Bake Cookie (Alaina-style) occurred. Now I am not sure if I am the person who came up with this, in fact I don't know who the first person to combine these ingredients was so if it is you, kudos. I do know that I did not look up a recipe (in fact I didn't have the internet back then) before making this recipe; so I call it Alaina-style. ...Enjoy.
